I spent some major bucks on whitening cream. $88 USD!
I was looking at pictures of the girls here, and my skin could never be as pale as theirs even if I tried. I wonder how white my face will be when I finish all these bottles... (If you're still laughing, you can stop now.)

WHITENING CREAM! O MELLY, the asian girls in ASIA wear long sleeves, use umbrellas, and bathe in sunscreen...there is no way. Give up the battle. Also...beware the effects of whitening agents. They strip layers of skin and leaves you susceptible to more damage if you don't use enough sunscreen. AND I'm in the lab, and I think I laughed for a full 30 seconds.
